Install hang and would not progress while doing pci config. The problem was solved by removing a pci USB add on card. The chipset is Via VT6202 0212cd. This card is USB and USB 2.0 compliant. Thanks to all for FreeBsd !!!!!!!!!!!

Does the problem still persist with 5.3 or later versions of FreeBSD? Also,
can you provide more details such as when the installation hung?

State-Changed-Why:
John already requested feedback and that still applies.
Is this problem solved in recent FreeBSD versions?

If not can you please give some more details about when
the machine stops responding and such?

I will close the PR in one week if there had been no feedback
by that time.
