i not have the prompt for execute uname -a

in item partition.
if i boot with disk win98 and use fdisk and format, i work normally.

who i resolv this?

 I make the other test...
 
 I get the hd st34... and instaled in p233 mhz
 
 I boot cd of freebsd 5.2.1 and instaled the OS normally.
 
 After, i get the hd and go to asus p4s533mx
 
 In moment of boot i choice the options 1,2,3,4, etc.. in freebsd menu and
 after reading kernel i receive this message:
 
 ata0-master: FAILURE - ATA - IDENTIFY no interrupt
 
 GEOM: create disk ad0 dp=0xc6a77960
 
 fatal trap 18: integer divide fault while in kernel mode
