Sadly you did not include much information, but first: 

Is this still a problem on recent freebsd releases? 

if so; when did the exact problem occur? were there 
any other informational message in the log? What did 
the machine do with your message? (If nothing it can 
be that the hardware is getting broken, happends from 
time to time).
