Sometimes if you boot up the machine, the boot prompt doesn't respond to the keyboard and sometimes the login screen makes funny charators when typing login names.

User should upgrade to recent FreeBSD to see if problem persists and reopen 
the problem report if it does.  User should also see if this problem exists 
under other operating systems if possible (damaged keyboard/controller suspect)
