>Description:
Net-Install of FreeBSD fails to retrieve FREEBSD-7.0 Image from server, unless it is not behind a router. Bug occurs on CD or Unetbootin. Has been tested on several machines:Compaq Pro, two custom built computers, and a old IBM Aptiva Also, two different types of internet connections: cable and Qwest DSL. I am unable to burn DVD's, and am not wanting to do a a multi-CD install. I am wondering if its a NAT problem or a port forwarding issue on the router. Because when there is no router involved it works fine.
>How-To-Repeat:
Make sure there is a router on the intenret connection, attempt to install freebsd via Net-Install CD or Unetbootin.
>Fix:
Remove router if possible, not possible on my internet connection currently since I use DSL. But when I removed the router on the Cable connection it worked. But when the router was in place on the cable internet connection the error came up of unable to retrieve freebsd 7.0 image.

State-Changed-Why:
Hello, this is not a bug. 7.0 is no longer supported, you should try and
download 7.2 which is available at all major ftp servers. I did an 7.2
installation under VMware just a few days ago which worked fine. Please
test this and report to me if this does not work, together we will try
to resolve it then. Thanks for making FreeBSD better!
