Installing from floppies on an IBM PS2 Model 90 XP 486 (a 486/50 with 24 megs RAM, 400 Mb SCSI hard drive and 2.88 floppy), when I try to boot the kern.flp, I get all this:

Disk error 0x4 (lba=0x10)
Disk error 0x4 (lba=0x10)
No /boot/loader

>How-To-Repeat:
try to boot again

PS/2's with Microchannel architecture are not supported.

State-Changed-By: msmith
State-Changed-When: Wed Jun 23 16:14:06 PDT 1999
State-Changed-Why:
Disk errors can be found in Ralf Brown's interrupt list; 0x4 is
04h sector not found/read error

In this case the error is almost certainly due to a defective floppy disk.
