Bonjour,

I'm tryin to install an Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG on a NEC S940.
But wen i'm try to load the firmware i have the following message:
(command to load iwicontrol -i iwi0 -d /boot/firmware -m bss)

iwicontrol: Can't load firmware to driver: Invalid argument

In the 6.1 RELEASE it was work fine. I didn't make an upgrade but formated et re-install the 6.2 release.

I want to install the iwi-firmware-kmod package but i can't find it on the ftp server at ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/i386/packages-6.2-release/net

What can i do ??

Use the ports; the package building is not active for this port:

NO_PACKAGE= "this is a modified version of a restricted firmware"

This would resolve the problem, in case it doesn't come back to me
and I will try to help you.

Also note that this is a support question, not a PRoblem, please
refer to the mailinglists the next time you encounter such a thing,
you will be helped much quicker there.
