>Environment:
6.1-RELEASE FreeBSD 6.1
>Description:
I build a custom kernel because i need dummynet for traffic shaping, so I
added 2 lines options IPFIREWALL and options DUMMYNET and make depend, make,
make install,reboot.

Now when the computer starts in freebsd I got the messages:
g_vfs_done():ad1s2a[READ(offset=8257536, length=4096)error=5
vnode_pager_getpages: I/O read error
vm_fault: pager read error, pid 955 (pkg_info)

when i type pkg_info it returns the message
Segmentation fault: 11 (core dumped)

Now kde doesn`t start, what should i do to resolve this problem ? The ad1s2a
is 200M / and used is 70M. I tried fsck -f and all that and doesn`t dissapear
the error.

tnx

State-Changed-When: Wed Aug 30 08:28:08 UTC 2006
State-Changed-Why:
Can you show us your kernel configuration file?
If you are able to reinstall at some point (not yet)
would that be a problem for you? It might be that
something might have been removed while that was not
the case yet, or that your hardware itself is blowing
up.

Can you give us some specs about your setup ? possibly
a copy of /var/run/dmesg.boot (or more even better the
version that is on your screen during boot?)

what you do see in the various logfiles in /var/log ?

Just a couple of questions I would love to see answered
so that we might have a better understanding of what
is wrong.
