>Organization:
FreeBSD, Inc.
>Environment:

All FreeBSD groff ports

>Description:

/usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/groff/Makefile.cfg has the line:

PAGE=letter (or PAGE=A4) in it.

>How-To-Repeat:

>Fix:

This line should be changed to PAGE?=letter at a minimum, but really
we should have a system-wide definition for paper sizes (I thought we
did, but I couldn't find it) and modify the makefiles to use it.

Of course this, in itself, is *still* a kludge, as the user should be
able to specify paper sizes in his own environment for bi-continental
systems.

Poul-H suggested it, and to the best of my memory said that he knew what
we should use (to be compatible with other programs doing A4/letter).
