5.6.3.1 Xaccess states that the Xaccess file by default allows all connection
as long as you open for connections in xdm-config. I had to uncomment the
following line to be able to logon:
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xdm/Xaccess
49:#*                                       #any host can get a login window
