I've committed most of the fixes.  Only one was left out: 
The s/net.citizens/net citizens/ stuff. 

I think the original author was trying to make a pun with 
the words "net", "citizen" and the format of Internet host 
names here.  It's not entirely wrong, but it's not entirely 
correct either.  So, what would you prefer?
