>Description:
In the handbook, "2.13.2 Creating a Local FTP Site with a FreeBSD Disk" says "Anyone with network connectivity to your machine can now chose a media type of FTP and type in ftp://your machine after picking ``Other'' in the FTP sites menu during the install." What it doesn't say is that you *also* need to go into the Options menu and change distribution name to "any". That is true for at least 4.9 and 4.10 CDs.
>How-To-Repeat:
Try installing following the directions, and you'll fail because it can't find the distribution.
>Fix:
Add a sentence to the section that tells the user to also change the option before executing.

State-Changed-Why:
Your floppy disks did not match the version of the FTP server. (For
example, using 4.9 floppy disks with a 4.10 FTP server). You should
not get the error message you described if the floppies and the
version provided by the FTP server are precisely the same.

Still, I added a note to mention this fact and that you can override
it through the Options menu. Thanks for the submission!

It may take up to 24 hours for the website to be updated.
