/usr/ports/distfiles " ...is symlinked to the CDROM", but the 
output of an ls -ld shows this is not so:

home/Mort%ls -ld /usr/ports/distfiles/
drwxr-xr-x  3 root  wheel  1024 Dec  3 16:54 /usr/ports/distfiles/
