>Description:
There is a big gap in our documentation in the area of virtualization.

The Handbook does not describe the caveats necessary for installing and using FreeBSD, Parallels, what is possible with Xen, etc..

In the short term, it would be good to add links to extranal documents on these topics to http://www.FreeBSD.org/docs.html but in the long term these are first class issues that should be well described in our project documentation.

Responsible-Changed-When: Mon Mar 26 01:17:53 UTC 2007
Responsible-Changed-Why:
I have a virtualization chapter that currently documents running
FreeBSD on Parallels. I will work on also describing running FreeBSD
as a guest OS on VMWare before submitting it in
handbook/virtualization/chapter.sgml.
