That can't be the reason, because FreeBSD *does* support loadable kernel 
modules.

Also, the man page is identified (via .Dt) as PCCARD(8), not
PCCARDD(8).

Fixed.  The language that states that FreeBSD dosn't support LKMs gas 
been removed and the .Dt problem has been fixed.
