When one goes thru the x windows configuration process, startx doesnt start x-windows.
The problem is that there is no link to X. I finally figured this out after locating a
relevant doc, but I really don't understand why its not in the configuration. Cost a lot 
of time to determine the really simple step necessary to fix it.

This was a bug in the X setup scripts (not provided by us) which 
have since been fixed.
