When I try to use a usb mouse or game controller, I plug in the device a
few seconds later the system displays this message: "problem with usbh0
disabling port 1". The system tells me at boot what kind of usb I have
on my laptop, which is Intel. But when I try to use it the port gets
disabled. I can't figure out how to fix this problem. Please help?

Can you show the maintainer the usb-related output from dmesg(8) when
you boot the kernel in verbose mode (boot -v at the loader prompt)?

 Ciao,
 Sheldon.

Is this still a problem with recent versions of FreeBSD?

Submitter's email address bounces. There wasn't enough information
here to really determine the problem, anyway.
