phone number and then just dials it repeatedly unitl itgets a line - the
person could then log in manually. Perhaps it should accept several numbers
and try them in rotation. I go to a uni with 6 lines for 7.5K students
and manually redialling...

I don't think that ppp's dialer capabilities will be enhanced 
in sysinstall unless ppp someday implements an easy way of 
specifying that, in which case sysinstall will pick it up.
