>Description:
When installing, I didn't select a package distribution. Doing this caused core components not to be installed and rendered an unbootable system. The user should be required to choose at least one option, or be provided with a warning that core components (i.e. -- passwd) will not be installed due to having no package distribution selected.
>How-To-Repeat:
Complete installation process and select no package distribution when prmopted.
>Fix:
Impliment a warning message that no package distribution has been selected, or force the user to select at least one.

State-Changed-When: Tue Dec 19 18:43:57 UTC 2006
State-Changed-Why:
What necessary components are not installed if no distribution
is chosen? I've been installing that way for years and only
recently ran into a problem that no kernel was installed. This
has been fixed for 6.2, so I'm wondering what other things may
be missing.
