Installed FreeBSD-6.0 BETA1 on my notebook. On this notebook was already
installed Windows XP Home. Created filesystems for FreeBSD and installed
it. Choosed "Leave the MBR untouched" - I want to use WinXP bootloader.
But after restart seems to WinXP loader is replaced by FreeBSD bootloader...

The "Leave the Master Boot Record untouched" shouldn't write out new
boot code, but if you've created a new slice it does mark it as being
active so the next time you reboot FreeBSD will boot instead of
Windows. To boot into Windows you should be able to just reset the
Active flag to the partition containing Windows.

Can you confirm whether new boot code was written to the MBR or if the
active flag had just been changed?
