>Description:
I've been doing daily dumps of /usr for a few months now with no
problems but starting last night, this happens:

# dump 0f - /usr > /dev/null

DUMP: Date of last level 0 dump: the epoch
DUMP: Dumping /dev/rsd0s1f (/usr) to standard output
DUMP: mapping (Pass I) [regular files]
  DUMP: mapping (Pass II) [directories]
  DUMP: estimated 325231 tape blocks.
  DUMP: dumping (Pass III) [directories]
DUMP: dumping (Pass IV) [regular files]
DUMP: 89.79% done, finished in 0:00
DUMP: 290.86% done, finished in 0:-6
DUMP: 499.09% done, finished in 0:-11
DUMP: 709.04% done, finished in 0:-17

DUMP: 1129.73% done, finished in 0:-27
DUMP: 1340.31% done, finished in 0:-32
  ...forever...

I tried fsck'ing the filesystem but no errors were reported.

>How-To-Repeat:
I can't make it go away so issuing the same command will make it happen
again.

Yes sir. If you want, you can completely delete the entry from your
records. I rebuilt the system with different hardware and all
 problems went away.
