Hi, I experienced the same problem when the defaultrouter is
not set but routed -q is set in /etc/rc.conf. In my case,
the defaultrouter should be appropriately set in the rc.conf,
irrespective of routed -q, then package-install via ftp works
 well.

 Dear Sir,

I am waiting for till you solve the Above problem. I am using FreeBSD on
PC with 486DX CPU. Can this bug be there only on m/c's not running on a
 Pentium Processor.

If I compile the sysinstall on my m/c this may be solved. But my problem
is where can I find the source of the sysinstall. What config line
should I have in the cvsup etc. Or at least if I can find the sysinstall
 - binary on your ftp site (which does not have this problem) , it is
 very much helpful.

I am so used to sysinstall to add packages, and with out it the life is
 too hard !

 Thanks in advance !

I think you can find a newer boot.flp in 2.2.2-RELEASE/floppies/newer
at any mirror site. Almost bugs are fixed, I believe.

The source of sysinstall will be find in /usr/src/release/sysinstall.

 Good luck!
