>Description:
I installed FreeBSD 2.2.1. The X-Server is working fine. If I excute
pkg_add, the system hangs. So, I tried to go /stand/sysinstall, that time also
the system hangs. This is happening both from prompt and from X-Windows.
If i change the dir to /cdrom, then also it hangs. I thought it is
something to do with CDROM mounting. So I tried "mount" command as given
in the FReeBSD handbook, again the system hung. I don't know the problem. Other than
this it is working fine. I would appreciate If anybody can help me out over this
problem. Thanks a lot.

Iyer.
>How-To-Repeat:
If /stand/sysinstall is tried from command prompt or from xwindows.
this happens. when i try mount without any parameters, the CDROM is
not mounted. But the sysinstall starts first then it hangs. This happens
if I boot the system with the freeBSD CDROM.
>Fix:
I don't know the fix. But it might be with respect to mounting
the CDROM properly. After I installed BSD with CDROm, I took out the
CDROM. Is there any procedure to mount it properly.
