>Description:
I mounted a UFS floppy from /dev/fd0c as /mnt/floppy. I removed the floppy. I
tried to forcibly unmount it, but it fails:

# umount -fv /dev/fd0c
umount: unmount of /mnt/floppy failed: Input/output error

It seems I will have to restart my system... This can't be true! Will try an
init 1 first. There goes my uptime...

Do the same as I did. :-)

Put the floppy back in and umount(8) it.

I tried that, but I had put some other files on it, so that did not work.

But even then this is still a major problem! umount -f should *always* work!

This PR duplicates numerous others and provides no new information.

This is a well-known problem. It's just not easy to fix.

 Ciao,
 Sheldon.

As sheldon notes in the audit trail, this problem is often
reported but not easy to fix.
