My environment is irrelevant, it's the gnats server at freefall that's
broken.

>Description:

I sent a bug report with a elaborate "how-to-repeat" section. But
gnats moved that whole section into "audit-trail" for some reason.

Here's the mangled report in full, enjoy. BTW, I'm going to prepend
every single line with a "!@#$%" just in case it's something in front
of the lines that confused gnats. By the way, this is the
"description" section.

Bill Fenner, in a message dated Sun, 19 Jan 1997 20:40:53 PST, on the
FreeBSD-bugs list, with the subject "Re: bin/2528: fetch(1)'s timeout is
ridiculously short", blamed this on the ">>" string being at the start of
 some lines.

Mesg. ref, likely to change over time,
 http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/search.cgi?words=bin%2F2489&max=250&source=freebsd-bugs&docnum=2
It contains no other relevent useful information.

 gnats is unreliable, anyways.

Probably. I've tried to reproduce it locally, but it seems this
doesn't happen inside send-pr. So it's likely a GNATS server issue.

Unless Steve or Paul are going to look after this, i'd suggest to set
the state of this PR to `suspended', since we are unlikely to ever fix
 it inside the FreeBSD group.
