FreeBSD 7.3-RELEASE #0: Sun Mar 21 06:15:01 UTC 2010
>Description:
FreeBSD 7.3-RELEASE (livefs) works fine on my Compaq DL380 testbox.

FreeBSD 8.0-RELEASE, FreeBSD 8.1-RELEASE, FreeBSD 8.1-STABLE (201010),
FreeBSD 9.0-CURRENT (201010) panic on boot with:
panic: Couldn't find an APIC vector for IRQ 9

When i change APIC table from 'Full table APIC; to 'Disable' in bios,
then FreeBSD panic with the same reason, but IRQ 13.

ACPI/no ACPI nothing change.

Here is dmesg:

Can you get capture the messages before the panic, ideally from a verbose
boot? If you can compile a kernel with DDB and get a stack trace that would
also be very helpful. You can use a digital camera if you can't hook up a
serial console (and don't want to write the messages down by hand).

 New Revision: 214448
 URL: http://svn.freebsd.org/changeset/base/214448

 Log:
Use 'PCPU_GET(apic_id)' to determine the BSP's APIC ID on a UP machine
when routing interrupts instead of cpu_apic_ids[0] since cpu_apic_ids[]
is only populated for multiple-CPU machines. This also matches what the
code does when SMP is not enabled.
