Garbled screen @ rootpass in installer, no way to set root password. 

HP XW4600, HP/Chicony keyboard. Mouse attached through HP1940 display USB hub. 

Killed installer and rebooted; stopped in "mountroot" prompt, no keyboard response! USB issue?

Installed 9.0-Release without issues. I am running at least one server at 9.1rc3 for non-essential services at the office but those are "make buildworld" upgrades from 9.0, not fresh installs from optical media.
