>Description:
We are running FreeBSD v7.2 amd64 edition with the MyriCom 10G-PCIE-8A-R+E cards.

When the slices are enabled and we try to bring up the interfaces we get the following error:

mxge0: alloced 256/1024 bigs
mxge0: couldn't open slice 6

>How-To-Repeat:
enable slices
attempt to bring up interfaces
>Fix:
Increase jumbo cluster count via /etc/sysctl.conf

The issue was resolved to the submitter's satisfaction directly via the
Myricom problem ticket #67753

>Unformatted:

This PR was resolved outside the FreeBSD pr system (in the Myricom problem tracking
system, ticket 67753) last July. The resolution was for the submitter to increase
the number of jumbo9 mbuf clusters in the system:

  Thank you very much Drew!

The "kern.ipc.nmbjumbo9=262144" setting helped. The interfaces came up and the slicing works fine.
