>Description:
The 4.1.1 sysinst program gets stalled in the initial (half completed) screen. Afer some minutes sysinst seems to perate but it cannot find any disk to label. 4.1 behaves the same. 3.4-Release seems to install ok. NetBSD 1.4.2 is installed and working and OpenBSD 2.5 used to work.

Dmesg from NetBSD:

State-Changed-Why:
Could not get feedback from submitter. Evidence is pretty strong
this was a 4.1.1.-only problem as people report success with 4.2R on
the same hardware.

4.2R installs without ny problem, as well as 4.0.

>Unformatted:

As people have reported succesful installs of 4.2R on AS200 I'd like you
to try a 4.2R installation. 4.1.1R on alpha was (humm..) not the best of
releases, it was built incorrectly. I have personally seen failures
with 4.1.1 on multiple different machine types.

So, please try 4.2R and report back

tnx
