Runlevel 3 , all entries are impossible.
If your system gets stack in the net, then log yourself in as one of the
users and execute su. A remote login as user
root is not possible!
If you do not have any net connection, you must press the
reset button and boot your system in the single mode.
For so, type the terms linux single at the prompt LILO
boot:. After booting you are asked for the
root's password. Log yourself in and call directly
the order init 2, in order to relog yourself in as root.
Change now as root the last line in the file
/usr/lib/X11/xdm/Xservers.
Instead of:
:0 local /usr/X11R6/bin/X -quiet
enter
:0 local /usr/X11R6/bin/X vt07 -quiet.
