Mounting install disk... *** Fatal error: Probably wrong disk inserted *** /bin/yast: sleep: I/O errorThe following errors can be the cause:
/dev the file fd0 with mv fd0H1440
fd0.Now the possible variations:
You boot with option "kernel.4"
This means, that kernel is loaded from the bootdisk. However the
rootdisk does not get into the ramdisk but it is mounted. Execute then
mkswap and exit Linux.
Reboot then kernel, this time without the
ending .4. Insert afterwards the rootdisk and then
- after request - the installation disk. Enter Yast, Yast runs smoothly.
Enter your swap partition and install Linux happily...
