Unable to allocate DMA memory

During access to a floppy disk drive it may happen, that one gets the message Unable to allocate DMA memory.

Should this happen frequently, you can prevent the use of DMA memory for the floppy drivers by declaring the Kernel parameter floppy=nodma. This is only possible at computers, that have a 486 or a pentium processor available.
