. An example would be the programme tar.
This is therefore something, that is due to the authors, not to a S.u.S.E.'s negligence during the CD construction.

--help a more or less detailed programme

In GNU programmes that have a documentation in the GNU-info format,
it must be used a info-viewer (info, emacs, xinfo)
.
Further more we make an effort in S.u.S.E. to extract relevant
documentation from the source packet into a packet and set it to the
applyer's disposal. You will find these documentations generally
in the directory /usr/doc/packages (for the single packets)
or in /usr/doc. Further more be referred to the
HowTos and
the FAQs, that after the corresponding packets' installation
with YaST are to be found in /usr/doc/howto
or /usr/doc/faq.
Should you still not have enough information for a packet at your hands, please install the corresponding source packet. Most of the times there is not more information than there for a programme.
If you however have the impression, that we have forgotten a manpage during the CD construction, we ask you to please send us a short E-Mail. We would be very thankful to you for such a hint.
