dosemu cannot be started

Symptom:

You cannot start your dosemu. When starting dosemu an error message comes:

Unable to open font "vga", trying "vga"...
X: Unable to open font "vga", trying "9x15"...

Cause:

In a dosemu between versions the vga fonts are located in a wrong directory. Instead of being in the directory /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc, one finds them in /usr/X11R6/lib/fonts/misc.

Solution:

Please move the font file vga.pcf.Z from there to its right place in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc Change then into the directory /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc and please call

        mkfontdir .
