LNX: W3 interface does not work

Symptom:

The LNX-W3 interface works if the examples are loaded to the browser. However, no database queries are replaced.

Cause:

Misleading document ;-)

Obviously, you load the example files directly to the browser. Nothing is of course replaced by this.

Solution:

Let the programme www-lnx be installed in the WWW server, in the directory cgi-bin. A reference of the form http://www.server.de/cgi-bin/www-lnx/beispiel.html starts the programme www-lnx with the parameter beispiel.html.

www-lnx interprets then the SQL errors contained in beispiel.html, and gives the HTML document completed by this to the browser.
