YaST: Desired printer driver is not available

SuSE Linux: Version 6.0,6.1

Symptom:

The command "gs -h" displays all of the available drivers for Ghostscript but in YaST, for example, you are not able to select the "cdj890" driver.

Reason:

YaST reads from a static list which is unfortunately not entirely current.

Solution:

1. In YaST, when you are configuring a printer and a prompted to enter "Printer type" choose "Other Printer".
2. When entering "Printer name choose the option User defined".
3. In the next box, type the name of your desired printer.
