Token Ring module fails to load

Symptom:

The »Token Ring« module fails to load.

Cause:

There might be a wrong entry for the device in /etc/modules.conf.

Solution:

Please correct the alias in /etc/conf.modules or /etc/modules.conf respectively.

	alias tr0 ibmtr

alias eth0 ... needs to be commented or set to off.

Comment:

Thre are »Token Ring« adapters that refuse to cooperate with Linux. Some others need to be initialized with their DOS software.
