ispell and dictionaries

Applies to

SuSE Linux: Versions since 5.3

Symptom:

ispell complains about missing dictionaries ;-) .

Cause:

The dictionaries are no longer contained in the ispell package. If you've only updated part of your system, you might have forgotten to choose "your" dictionary.

Solution:

Install the desired dictionaries using YaST. The dictionaries are contained in the series "spl".
