Seyon gives problems in connection with mgetty

S.u.S.E. version: 4.2

Symptom:

When seyon is running and at the same time a mgetty is started on the same device the connection collapses after some time.

Cause:

The cause of this behaviour is that seyon and mgetty use different paths for their lock files. Because of this, mgetty does not notice that another program uses the modem and reinitialises it. This leads into a connection's collapse by seyon.

Solution:

An error-free version of seyon is located on our FTP server in ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse_update/suse42/n1
