Postgres
If you're using the postgres database all the time, you can start the postgres daemon automatically at boot time.
Please perform the following steps :
/etc/rc.config :
START_POSTGRES=yes
/sbin/init.d/postgres which should contain
the following text :
#! /bin/sh
# Copyright (c) 1997 S.u.S.E. GmbH Fuerth, Germany. All rights reserved.
#

# /sbin/init.d/postgres
