Where is the Registration code and the StarOffice Mediakey?

Applies to

SuSE Linux: Version 6.1

Symptom:

  • You need the Registration code to qualify for installtion support and cannot find it.
  • During the installation of StarOffice you are prompted for the Mediakey and you do not know where it is.

    Reason:

    Starting with SuSE Linux 6.1 the registration code and the Mediakey are attached to the manual. You will find it on the first page of the manual printed on a thick peice of paper.

    Solution:

    Please take a look in your SuSE Linux manual ;-)

    The location of the code numbers is shown in the following Example.
