PCMCIA: Adding and removing of PC-Cards isn't recognized

Symptom:

Adding and removing of PC-Cards (formerly PCMCIA cards) isn't recognized by the card manager.

Cause:

The PC-Card controller is inactive after the initialization (suspend mode).

Solution:

Scan the port every second. Add the entry 

PCMCIA_PCIC_OPTS="poll_interval=100"
to /etc/rc.config
