Question: What are some resources for getting PPP running on Linux?

There are a number of documents available to help you with this task.

There is a Red Hat Linux PPP-TIP available at
	http://www.redhat.com/support/docs/rhl/Tips/PPP-Tips/PPP-Tips.html
which covers both the Red Hat 4.x 'netcfg' tool and the use of standard
PPP scripts for Red Hat 3 (and earlier).

The latest version of the full Linux PPP-HOWTO is available from
	http://sunsite.unc.edu/mdw/HOWTO/
and also from it's home site in the Linux resources area at
	http://www.interweft.com.au

There is also an excellent PPP-FAQ written and maintained by Al
Longyear. This is also available in the Linux resource area at
	http://www.interweft.com.au

The PPP-TIP and HOWTO provide information on setting up PPP, plus some
debugginh information. The PPP-FAQ contains significant amounts of
information on tracking down and fixing PPP problems.

If you have Red Hat Linux on CD, the version of the PPP-HOWTO that was
current at the time of the release of hte CD is contained in the HOWTO
rpm. If you install this, you will find the HOWTO in /usr/doc/HOWTO.

Please note that the latest version of the HOWTO should always be
consulted as earlier versions contained some errors and more material
is added at each revision. The current latest version is V 3.0 (March
1997).

OK - I have read the docs but I STILL have problems with PPP

I suggest you subscribe to the Red Hat PPP mailing list. See
	http://www.redhat.com/support/mailing-lists/
for subscription info.

There are a number of knowledgable PPP users that provide assistance
via this list.
