Conficting hardware interrupts can make your life really difficult. Fortunatly Linux makes it really easy to find out what interrupts are in use.
- if you built a linux kernel that uses the "proc" filesystem,
(editors note: rh has it as standard)
you can determine which interrupts are being used by typing
the following:
# cat /proc/interrupts
0: 60261763 timer
1: 115429 keyboard
2: 0 cascade
5: 38999789 busmouse
10: 160713 NE2000
12: 386623 + BusLogic BT-946C
13: 1 math error
you can also get the i/o port ranges by typing
"cat /proc/ioports".
