Issue:

New users ask how to access their FAT formatted disk media with the "mtools" package. This is how.

Response:

• install the mtools rpm.
• use the -t flag to "mcopy" when converting text files from unix to dos and vice-versa.
• before using mtools with a floppy, you must first format the floppy using fdformat and mformat.
• use mcopy -t to copy text files from unix to dos format.
