
Why is init.d renamed to r2d2?

	In ancient times, the init-program lived in /etc and the
	directory for the configuration files could not have the
	same name. Today, init lives under /sbin and the
	extension .d is superflous.
	Now, we could just rename "init.d" into "init", but the
	only direct configuration file is /etc/inittab, thus
	a directory is not
