This is a smooth animation of the five letters L,I,N,U and X, twisting around.
I arranged them to a new(?) logo.
The movie is intended to run fullscreen and is _very_ suitable as a screen-
nsaver or an eyecatcher in general (must be activated manually, of course).

You may put the movie on any screen, you can reach (even NT!).
I think, better have "flying linux" than "flying windows" -- but don't throw
linux out of the window! :-)

Technote:

The scene was written completely by hand, and then rendered with
linux-povray 3.0 on four Pentium 133 (would take about 30 hours on one CPU).
The movie contains 120 Frames (about 20 fps).
(This package still fits on one disk).
Resolution: 320 x 200
Colordepth (now): 8 bit (should be deeper)
The frames were converted to *.flc by ppm2fli. That's all.
Maybe, I release the sourcecode sometime. It's still very ugly. :-(
The animation is smooth, even on a 486 with ISA bus and needs almost
no CPU time (well, it needs some memory).

FLIP (FLI/FLC player):

flip is available on sunsite:
sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/apps/graphics/viewers/svga/

I included an "old" version, which is linked to older libs. Just use the
one which works for you.

I hope you like it. Comments are welcome!
