An Explantion
-------------

The reason for this rather strange LICENSE.TXT file, is that we have not yet
decided on what lisence pg2d will be distributed. When we have decided, IT
WILL ALMOST CERTAINLY NOT BE THE GPL!

The reason I have chosen to temporarily use the GPL is that it is so strict
that I don't have to worry about something bad happening. When we have decided
what to do, we will relax the licensing. I personally prefer a BSD style
license.

The reason I explicitly reserve my right to change the license is a
just-in-case thing. I'm sure I have that right anyway, but its best to be
sure... (I have two lawyers in my immediate family, and neither of them will
give me any useful advice.)
