FreeDOS is a complete, free, DOS-compatible operating system meant for classic
PC hardware. It provides the kernel, the command interpreter, a file system
driver for FAT and a growing collection of DOS utilities and games.

This is the Floppy-Only Edition, the release that installs from diskettes
instead of from a CD or a USB stick. It carries the whole operating system on
x86BOOT.img and x86DSK01.img and up, which suits a 286 without a CD-ROM drive,
and suits the DOS emulators that boot a floppy image rather than a disk: mount
x86BOOT.img as drive A: of DOSBox, or attach it as a floppy of QEMU or Bochs,
and the installer runs as it would on real hardware.

The archive holds three sets of diskette images:
* 5.25"  1.2MB
* 3.5"   720KB
* 3.5"  1.44MB

All three sets carry the same files, so any one of them installs the same
system.
