xconvers v0.4.2
---------------

This is the last version of xconvers available for motif/lesstif. For
future versions, watch http://xconvers.sourceforge.net, where I will publish
code of a GTK+ linked xconvers.

Guido has agreed to put xconvers under GPL. He stopped maintaining xconvers,
so if you have any questions do NOT send them to Guido, but to me. I will
try and coordinate any changes to the package. After I got the mail from Guido,
I grabbed the 0.3 sources, GPL'ed them and uploaded it as version 0.4.

Here is the mail I got from Guido:

I'm very surprised that anyone is going to use my xconvers now. Some years
ago I started programming with Motif on xconvers. So it may be written
not to clever. ;-)

Yes of cause, I put xconvers under GPL. At the time of writing the program I
couldn't imagine that it could be of public interest sometime. Please feel
free to redistribute xconvers as you like it. Since I do not maintain
xconvers, would you please insert the necessary GPL-notices into the sources
and the README-File? Perhaps you could also mention that I no longer
maintain xconvers.

If there are remaining questions please e-mail me.

Greetings,
Guido

Xconvers is originally written for Motif, but you can succesfully
compile and run with lesstif (see www.lesstif.org), a free Motif clone.
